Past In-House Courses
As explained on the current courses page, the Social Science & Public Affairs Living-Learning Community has two coursework requirements. One is a required one-credit colloquium that all participants must take. Each student must also take one or both of the two "in-house" courses that are taught each fall in a small classroom located inside the residence hall.
This page provides a list of the in-house courses that have previously been taught as part of the Social Science & Public Affairs Living-Learning Community, to give potential applicants a sense of the kinds of courses that have been taught here so far. The courses that will be taught in the Community during a given year are chosen by the individual departments in FSU's College of Social Sciences, and may not include any of these specific courses. However, this list should be a good indicator of the types of courses that have been taught in the past and that are likely to be taught in the future.
